 Boarding Primary School Goes Operational in Afar


   Aballa, January 08, 2002 (WIC)- A boarding primary school built with an out lay of over two

   million birr in Abialla town of Afar State has gone into operation.


   Zone two Education Department Head, Ali Ibrahim told WIC that the school has admitted 70

   students from 12 woredas in two zones of the State.


   He said the school which enrolls children who were denied access to education because of

   their mobility, would provide food and dormitory services.


   Upon being fully equipped with the necessary facilities the school would admit 150 more

   students by the next academic year, he said.
