 Girl Gives Birth While Taking School Leaving Examination

 

   Shire, May 18, 2002(WIC)- A girl who was taking the School Leaving Examination for grade

   10 students gave birth last Thursday to a baby boy at the Shire Secondary School in

   northwestern Tigray zone.

 

   The student, 20 gave the in the classroom normally with the help of a teacher and her

   classmates  after on hour into the exam.

 

   The principal said she went back to her exam yesterday after post delivery  treatment at shire

   hospital.

 

   Meanwhile flush floods have washed away a father and his son in Woltachefa peasant

   association in Goro woreda, Bale zone, Oromia state, the woreda Police said.

 

   The floods took the father, 40 and son 10, when torrential rains caused the Dinsa river to over

   flow, its banks.
