SOCIAL CHANGE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE GRANTS - COMMON COUNCIL FOUNDATION

PURPOSE: To provide travel stipends to encourage social change 

organizations to seek technical assistance from each other and to help 

build networks among progressive nonprofit organizations.



DEADLINE: There are no deadlines for this fund, you can submit proposals 

on a year-round basis, but funds are limited, and sometimes are spent by 

the fall.



SUMMARY: The Common Counsel Foundation administers the Grantee Exchange 

Fund, a small grants program for community organizations seeking travel 

stipends and technical assistance funds. The fund provides small grants, 

$200-$700, for organizers and activists to exchange information and 

strategies. 



Applicants should write a letter specifying the name of the organization

with which the applicant will train; purpose of the exchange and the 

skills to be developed; who will participate in the exchange.

Grant seeking organizations must be classified as 501(c)3 or have a

501(c)3 sponsor. Grants will be awarded to social change organizations.
