ESLC Exam Results Issued 442 Score 4.00 GPA
Addis Ababa, August 2 (ENA) - Over 37,336 regular, extension and private examinees have scored 2.00 grade points at latest Ethiopian School Leaving Examination while 442 others scored 4.00 grade points.
The general manager of the National Examination Office, Ato Tizazu Asare, said a total of 187,353 students sat for the 1992 (Ethiopian Calendar) out of whom 71,541 were regular students. Ato Tizazu revealed that 6,932 students scored 3.00 grade points and above: 5,955 male and 977 female. Out of the 442 students who scored 4.00 grade points only, 35 were female, he noted.
Compared with the previous one, this year's result showed improvement. The total number of examinees who sat for the national exam last year was 66,000, out of whom 30,211 scored 2.00 points and above.
