Ethiopian Airlines Graduates 14 Pilots, 23 Hostesses

Fourteen pilots and 23 hostesses trained for 18 months and 6 months, respectively, received Monday diplomas and certificates from Bisrat Negatu, Chief Executive Officer of EAL. One female pilot was in the graduating class. The graduate woman pilot, Eleni Tadesse, brings the number of female pilots in the country to four.
The airlines has so far trained 626 pilots, out of which 266 were foreigners mainly from other Africa countries and, the Middle
East. The pilot training school was established in 1964.
