            The Forum on Universal Education would like to invite you to a

            conference on "Achieving Education for All in Africa" June 11, 2002,

            from 10 am - 3 pm.  We are pleased to host three Ministers of Education

            from Africa for this event.

           

            The conference will be held in the run-up to the G-8 Summit in Canada,

            to highlight recent progress and remaining challenges for education in

            the region.

           

            The first panel will highlight successful models and partnerships for

            achieving Education for All in this region, while discussing how

            development assistance can help to address remaining challenges. The

            second panel will focus on teachers to focus the discussion on one key

            aspect of the reform challenge.
