Summary: Two or more lecturing or lecturing/research awards.
Program Overview: Candidates with the rank of associate or full professor and substantial teaching and research experience are preferred. At Addis Ababa University, Alemaya University of Agriculture, and Jinna Institute of Health Sciences, the academic terms run from September to January and January to June; at the Civil Service College, from August to October, November to March, and April to July; and at Mekelle University, from October to January and February to July. An English language school, International Community School (K-12), is located in Addis Ababa.

Stipend: $2,400-$2,600 monthly base stipend, to be determined by the
base stipend formula.
Maintenance: Standard maintenance. For 1998-99 the following was provided: $775-$1,075 per month, plus housing or housing allowance.
Travel/Relocation: Standard travel/relocation. For 1998-99 the following was provided: $7,300-$16,900, based on the number of accompanying dependents.
Tuition Assistance: Dependent educational and supplemental research allowances.
