ADA Inaugurates Expansion Project On College
GONDER, August 21 (ENA) – The Amhara Development Association (ADA) has inaugurated the 1.1 million Birr expansion project it has under-taken at the Gonder Teachers' Training College.
The expansion work included the construction of 15 blocks for office and other purposes, a modern library and dormitories for students.
According to the college dean, after the expansion the library can now host 200 readers at a time, as compared to 70 earlier.
Meanwhile, secretary of the ADA, Ato Genetu Azene, disclosed that the Association is executing various development projects at the cost of 5 million Birr, including the Sanja Masero-Densia road construction.
The association has designed new projects in the areas of HIV/AIDS and Malaria prevention as well as in reproductive health for implementation this fiscal year, he said.
