Our Mission
NONPROFIT PURPOSES
- This corporation is organized exclusively for one or more of the
purposes as specified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES AND PURPOSES
The specific objectives and purposes of this corporation are:
- (a)to provide information on schools, colleges,universities,
vocational/technical schools, financial aid and
career information for Ethiopian-Americans and Ethiopians residing both in the US
and other countries;
- (b)to provide website links to colleges, scholarship and
sports information search databases;
- (c)to provide community leaders, governmental, and
other concerned members of the public with essential information to exchange
ideas, suggest solutions, and implement strategies to enhance the
educational and sport activities of Ethiopians;
- (d)to publish a newsletter on education and sports news that relate to the community;
- (e)to sponsor seminars and other educational events
- (f)to meet with governmental and educational institutions representatives;
report to governmental and educational institutions; and generally make an
effort to help such agencies expand their selection of Ethiopian students
for higher education;
- (g)to meet the continuing challenge of enhancing the skills of Ethiopians for the 21st Century.
